Sip, share and shine
The program
About the Tea Party Group
Moi Clinic community loves a tea party! This program is set up fit for the royal family. Real cups, saucers tea pots with a variety of food to choose. Children sit together to eat and have the freedom to choose foods, experimenting with touch and taste. Some of the food is made on the day such as decorating biscuits and cookies or threading strawberries dipped in chocolate.
The aim of the tea party is to increase children sense of belonging. When a child develops understanding of who they are in the world their self-esteem and advocacy skills can grow. This group explores the similarities and differences between people and encourages the group to accept one another for who they are. It fosters a place of belonging and community. Where children can learn about who they are and are free to be themselves.
